Enabling change in our Society, Environment and Economy (SEE)

Jodie Pipkorn – Committee member

Jodie Pipkorn was the SEE-Change Executive Officer from January 2014-July 2016.

Prior to this she worked in the Australian Government and as an architect in Australia and internationally, and delivered a range of activities as Convener of SEE-Change Inner North from 2010-2012.

Jodie has a Masters of Architecture in sustainable built environments, and she has been ‘walking-the-talk’ by not owning a car for over 10 years and cycling everywhere, and completing a sustainable renovation of her townhouse with the help of her father.

She has also successfully advocated to get a 40% carbon emissions reduction target and light rail for the ACT, and she is Vice President of Canberra City Farm, who collaborated with community groups in Canberra to deliver the first community sustainable food and lifestyle display for Floriade 2013 and 2014, and have established an Education Centre for sustainable living in Fyshwick.
