Enabling change in our Society, Environment and Economy (SEE)

Happy Volunteer Week

This week is National Volunteer Week 2016 and we are celebrating our wonderful SEE-Change volunteers.

We would like to acknowledge all the time, effort and enthusiasm which all our volunteers bring to the SEE-Change community. Volunteers assist us in so many ways: in the smooth running of the office, at festivals, at local group meetings, organising and running fantastic actions and events, tweeting and posting on social media and in so many other ways. SEE-Change could not manage without you, so a heartfelt ‘thank you’ goes out to you all.VACT04090_Logo_CMYK_160108

The ACT volunteer of the year awards were celebrated earlier this week. SEE-Change nominated three of our outstanding volunteers and our congratulations goes out to Asta Stokell to was awarded a Recognition Award. Asta was recognised for her work with the Inner South local group, the SEE-Change Inc committee and all her many other efforts. Congratulations Asta!

Today in the office we had a morning tea for our volunteers. Thank you for those who attended, we all enjoyed a chat over a delicious homemade cheesecake!20160512_110803

Thanks again everyone, who has contributed to SEE-Change by volunteering….. and remember: the research that shows volunteers live happier and healthier lives!

With thanks to our
