Brickworks – Community Panel

SEE-Change Inner South was one of the community stakeholders invited by the Land Development Agency (LDA) to participate in a community panel forum as part of the most recent consultation process on the Canberra Brickworks. Members of the Community Panel are representative of a group, organisation or association that has an interest in the Canberra Brickwork Precinct development.

The Community Panel worked with the LDA between November 2015 and March 2016 on a set of objectives to guide the future development of the new Canberra Brickworks Precinct. These objectives balance the expectations and needs of stakeholders with support for the site’s history and heritage, while meeting urban renewal requirements. They outline the project’s character and form part of the assessment of tenders for the development.
